Applications for Merit Review Board leadership positions are open from 06-Oct-26 to 20-Oct-26.

Merit Review Board interviews will take place at HMCS Carleton on 02-Nov-26 and 09-Nov-26. A third night on 16-Nov-26 may be added depending on the number of applications and will be confirmed after applications close.

Prerequisites:

• Sergeant (Sgt) position: you must currently hold the rank of Flight Corporal or Sergeant.

• Flight Sergeant (FSgt) position: you must currently hold the rank of Sergeant or Flight Sergeant.

• Warrant Officer 2nd Class (WO2) position: you must currently hold the rank of Flight Sergeant or Warrant Officer 2nd Class.

How to apply:

• Complete the online application form, including uploading your resume (2 pages maximum) and a letter of intention (1 page maximum): Fall 2026 Leadership Boards.

• Cadets are encouraged to review the "How to Write a Strong Application" document below.

Every applicant will be informed of the status of their application. Unsuccessful applicants will be offered a debrief.

It is your responsibility to make sure your application is submitted on time.
