The Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) is the civilian partner of the Air Cadet program, responsible for providing the resources and community support that enable the squadron to thrive. The SSC manages local fundraising, maintains financial and administrative records, supports facilities and equipment, recruits and screens volunteers, promotes the squadron within the community, and works closely with the Commanding Officer to enhance optional activities and overall cadet experience. By ensuring strong parental involvement, safeguarding privacy, upholding safe conduct, and recognizing volunteers and supporters, the SSC helps create the conditions for a successful and vibrant Air Cadet program.
