Invest in Tomorrow’s Leaders – Support 211 Kiwanis Air Cadets Through GCWCC United Way (Government of Canada Workforce Charitable Campaign)
Parents and Community Members,
At 211 Kiwanis Air Cadet Squadron, we are proud to help shape the next generation of leaders. For over 80 years, our squadron has positively impacted thousands of young people in our community. Our program offers youth aged 12 to 18 a wide range of fun, challenging, and enriching activities that build confidence, self-discipline, and leadership skills which benefit them today and throughout their lives.
Although some funding for the program is available through the Department of National Defence, the Air Cadet League, (through the Squadron Sponsoring Committee), provides funding for facilities, transportation, bursaries and activities that are not part of the mandatory program and for this, we could use your help. With the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC) now underway within the federal government, we invite federal public servants to consider directing a donation to support our squadron. Your contribution will directly fund special events, essential equipment, and unique experiences for our cadets. Every dollar makes a difference.
Does your workplace participate in the United Way of Eastern Ontario? You too can donate directly.
How to make a direct donation to 211 Squadron? A friendly reminder that there is also a link on our website where general donations can be made by anyone. This is another mechanism to support Squadron 211 and its activities.
Thank you for your support and for helping us build responsible, confident, and capable future leaders.
Sincerely,
Pamela Best
